“ Great spot! They have a really good vegetarian burger and the waffle sweet potato fries were amazing. I would recommend this place for a big group. The staff were super accommodating and nice. ”
“ Good food, fun atmosphere. Was able to accommodate a group of us while in town for a conference. ”
“ Back again! Alas, no flatbreads but nice to see that the food menu and tap selection have changed it up a bit. Several of my beer faves from last visit are still there but graced with some new selections--including a nice British style bitter--that were up my alley. Food this time was a soft pretzel and the hot caprese sandwich. The pretzel was surprising and good since it wasn't overly salty and the dough tasted somewhat wheatier than a typical pretzel. The sandwich waa also decent with fresh Italian meats. ”
“ Nice brewery with good menu. Big airy restaurant with good service and lots of seating. ”
“ This place came as a recommendation on a trip to Manhattan, and it met expectations. The place is very modern with three levels and a patio seating area, and the ambiance was a fun vibe walking through. Sat on the rooftop and enjoyed the summer evening. My only suggestion there is to work on the tables which are very uneven and wobble badly. Caleb arrived at the table and provided some helpful suggestions for the meal. He did a great job taking care of the table during the evening as well as managing the many other tables on the roof. He recommend the Korean BBQ Wings as a starter, and while that would not have been my first choice, they were good and had a lot of flavor. I ordered the Tap Mac with the Pork Belly, and it was really good. Could have used just a little more cheese, but it also had a lot of flavor. My friend ordered the Salmon Burger and fries. The star of that dish was the Smoked Tomato Aioli which is ordered as the side sauce that comes with the sandwich. It was good on the fries and it was good on the sandwich. The hard cider we ordered was a great complement to the meal. Overall, this was a nice experience and a good meal while in Manhattan. ”
“ Maybe you're a skeptical beer drinker who wonders where it all comes from. Well at this place you get to see bins of hops and giant brew kegs, so it's all there and evident that this beer didn't come from your local supermarket. If that still isn't enough for you, take a look at what's on tap and you'll see names of beer that are unique to this single place on Earth. So whether you're by yourself or with a date, this is a good place to go and socialize with others or site quietly at a table. The staff is friendly and well educated (college students). They are fun to talk to and open to conversation. On the outside that you have twenty five of your best friends with you (or perhaps minions), this house has space for a large table for plotting and planning. Or if you happen to be meeting an enemy or someone who owes you money, consider the rooftop area with a great view of the street below.... You catch my drift? ”
“ Went for lunch on a recommendation. The place was pretty quiet during the week for lunch. Was seated right away and asked for a gluten free menu. I asked if they had any gluten free beers they make and the answer was no which is fine but for anyone else curious. I ordered the Tallgrass burger with a GF bun and the Tap House salad side, no croutons. The burger was good but the gluten-free bun fell apart before I was halfway done with my burger. The side salad portion was huge and I appreciated the vinaigrette dressing option. Overall service was good and food was decent. ”
“ We took the wrong exit off the freeway looking for a fast food restaurant. When we realized that we were only 10 miles from Manhattan, we decided to drive on in and visit Manhattan. Since the original reason for exiting I-70 was lunch we opted to have lunch at the Tallgrass Tap House - right in the heart of Manhattan. My wife and I both ordered the Bahn Mi sandwiches with pork, pickled carrots, radishes and cumcumber on a baguette. I ordered mine WITH the jalapenos; my wife order her jalapenos on the side. We both also added a bowl of their Pale Ale Bisque - made with 3 kinds of cheese, bacon and fried onions. The soup was exceptionally good and the Bahn Mi sandwiches were the best we've found since ordering some a small deli in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn, NY. Service was exceptional. Our waiter was a young architectural student at Kansas State and he shared a lot of history about Manhattan and the varous "areas" of town. There are only a handful of restaurants that have earned a 5-star rating from me and this is one of them. Considering this was a purely accidential "find", I think we'll be taking the 10-mile detour off of I-70 on our next trip between Columbus and Denver. ”
“ Excellent service, from walking in the door, recommendations, bartending and waitressing! Guests waiting to be seated recommended the Poutine, as that is why they were there and keep returning. So, we got that with pork belly and a flight! IT WAS SO DANG GOOD!!! Every bite had depth of flavor, cheese, more flavor, and the. Green onions! The hand-cut fries were done to perfection. My gooodness. I can still taste the flavor! The flight was meh. We should have taken a bit more time to evaluate the microbrews before we settled on which ones. There was NOTHING wrong and the flight is WELL worth the price! We may go back on our way back home just to try something else..... or to get the Poutine again!! ”
